BRUNATIONAL ‘Where Visions Meets Creation’
In 2001, founder members, Louis Nel and Syd
Rogers teamed up to create one of the most
respected, innovative contracts manufacturing
Company in Gauteng. Starting with five or six
employees and with drive, passion, dedication
and over 40 years’ experience in the cosmetic
industry, Brunational has now over 110 employees,
all dedicated to making Brunational Cosmetic and
Skincare Manufacturers the success story it is
today. Brunational underwent a name change from
Brunel Manufacturing (Pty) Ltd in 2012 due to the
fact that Brunel Laboratoria, a distribution arm,
was sold and the decision to branch out nationally
into the KwaZulu-Natal region prompted the name
change and the Ballito based distribution branch
was born!
Our factory based in Edenvale, Gauteng, the hub
of activity, where our Research & Development
Laboratory has the experience together with
the latest technology and cutting edge product
knowledge to create high quality products at
affordable prices. Our manufacturing and filling
facilities are both impressive and comprehensive
allowing us the flexibility to manufacture a range of
products varying from liquids, gels, lotions, creams,
balms, powders, soaps, salts, scrubs, and toiletries
from bath oils, shampoos, conditioners, treatments,
roll on, as well as perfumes.
Anything from head to toe - including amenities to
guest houses/B & B lodges, Household / Industrial
range and distributors of a huge selection of Salon
& Spa range (peel off mask/natural clays, manicure/
pedicure, essential oils, massage treatments, Pre &
Post wax treatments and loads more…
Quality control is carefully monitored throughout
each phase of the entire production process
assuring the consistent quality of our work.
Attention to detail is an essential component of
our philosophy. Additional testing is conducted to
verify purity and quality of raw material prior to being Editorial supplied by Brunational
released for production and our Reverse Osmosis
purifying water plant ensures high quality and
standards are always achieved.

Our 18 packing and filling lines can fill, label, carton,
batch and shrink-wrap all size containers. We
have two tube filling machines as well as a soap
plant, that produces glycerine and vegetable soaps
together with a flow wrap seal, all these cater for our
customers’ requirements.
SABS CERTIFIED IN 2006
Everyone at Brunational from Senior Management
right down to factory staff has dedicated
many hours and resources to attaining SABS
ISO9001:2015 accreditation, in 2006, which is a
prestigious yet critical achievement in the cosmetic
industry. Throughout these seven years, the Quality
Standards required from the accreditation have
become ‘A Way Of Life’ for all of us at Brunational.
Audits are carried out every six months by SABS
and our Quality Manager ensures that these
standards are maintained by continually monitoring
every area of the Factory.
FLEXIBILITY
With our dedicated staff, latest technology and
cutting edge product knowledge together with
our manufacturing and filling facilities which are
both impressive and comprehensive, flexibility
is a contributing factor towards attracting new
business. Nothing is too small, too big, too long,
too short, too pale or too bright for us to attempt
and follow through!
RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT
Not only do we provide technical assistance, we
develop ideas and turn them into saleable, final
products. The skills and creativity of our customer
service division, combined with the best calibre of
lab technicians and quality products, ingredients
and technological advancements ensure a smooth
running process from brief to finished, delivered
product. Our customer service division can
also put you in touch with qualified, experienced
professionals in the packaging design field. We are
