Doone Village was established 50 years
ago, by the Rotary Club of Pinetown, as
a retirement village for over 60-year-olds.
Doone Estate lies in the Pinetown suburb
of Manors and is the original home – The
Manor House – of the farm Richmond,
which was one of the biggest poultry farms
in the province.

There are 3 different categories of dwellings
for independent living - cottages, flats, and
bachelor units. For those needing more
assistance, there are assisted living units
as well as a Frail Care Centre.

The beautiful lush nursery,
common gardens, plus our catch

and release dams are great to
explore.

Amenities include free WiFi in the computer
room, a well-stocked library, plus an on-
site Hairdresser and Shop. There are many
activities on offer in the village, such as
bowls, snooker, bridge, Mahjong, Sewing
Bees and many more.
