"The concept of a pub, in itself, is a
cornerstone of the Irish tradition. It’s a
place to unwind, take shelter from the cold,
or share a few pints with some friends just
for the fun of it. Opened in 2001, Waxy
O’Connors is an authentic Irish restaurant
founded on the principles of congeniality,
good food, and the indispensable Irish
stout: Guinness."
In the last 14 years, this hands-on family
owned business has grown from 1 to 6
stores. Apart from aligning with strategic
suppliers to deliver an unbeatable offering
on draught beer and other beverages, a
huge emphasis has been placed on food.
A group Chef has been employed to elevate
the food offering from ‘typical pub grub’
to a gastro pub dining experience. This
accompanied by warm welcoming staff and
live sport and entertainment, makes Waxys
a difficult spot to beat.
