Understanding the tones you hear
In many countries the ringing tone, which is a single long signal repeated at regular intervals, sounds much like our engaged tone. The
overseas engaged tone often is a short signal repeated rapidly.
A A double ring, repeated regularly (same as Namibian ring tone)
